The stylised golden Sepaktakraw ball captures the dynamism and aspirations of the sport, and evokes the royal yellow star at the heart of the Malaysian national flag. The “Sparkle Ball ” is inspired by fireworks, a metaphor for celebration. Made of a core of light bands which mimic the sweeping movements of the game, it consists of trailing light particles and streaks.White, blue and red colours of the logotype mirror the colours of the Malaysian flag, while
a special logotype, reflecting the cultural heritage of Malaysia, has been selected for the words “Kuala Lumpur”.

Appearing in semi-molten form, encased in metal sheaths and forged in the furnace of competition, it draws its inspiration from the technical excellence, precision and passion of the sport at its very best, and represents the never-ending cycle of competition: victory, defeat, and constant improvement.The trailblazer ball is complemented by a fresh, specially-designed logotype, evoking parallels with youthful gaming trends and concepts.

The identity expresses the idea of empowerment. A star passes through a window of transformation, symbolising customers being empowered with telecommunication tools in their everyday life.
